The Fuelstar Fuel Saving device has the ability to save fuel to an extent unmatched by other products and technologies.

In thousands of trials spanning almost two decades, Fuelstar has been proved to achieve an improvement in fuel consumption by 12 to 15% and frequently more. Fuelstar achieves these fuel savings by providing a more complete and more controlled combustion.

This applies to both gasoline and diesel engines, of all sizes ranging through cars and RV's, trucks, off-road equipment, boats, ships, gensets, locomotives and oil-fired boilers and furnaces.

Different sizes of canisters are available for different sizes of engine.

Fuelstar provides a money back guarantee that its product will save fuel to the extent of at least 10%.

However, beware! There is no technology, not even Fuelstar, that will automatically achieve improved fuel economy. Only a conscientious machine operator can do that. The Fuelstar will wheedle more energy out of the fuel you use now.  How you use it is up to you. For example, if you have a genset producing 1045kW at 1500 rpm, you will find that the engine will produce 1200kW at 1500 rpm after installing Fuelstar, that is an increase of 15%. If you back off the fuel rack setting to produce the same power output after Fuelstar as before, then you will see a fuel saving of approximately the same amount; i.e. 15%. Or, you can leave the fuel rack setting as it was and settle for the extra power.

Much the same scenario goes for a truck. You will see a fuel saving of 12 to 15% after installing Fuelstar but only if you do not use the extra power. To get the benefit of the fuel saving it is necessary that the truck be driven well within its limits. Many trucking operators minimize loads and insist on speed restrictions. In Europe such controls are enforced at law. It is interesting to note that fuel consumption in Europe for a class 8 truck (speed limited to 90 km or 55 miles per hr) is typically 30 liters/100km (3.33 km/liter or 7.83 MPUSG) whereas in many other countries it is typically 45 liters/100 (2.22 km/liter or 5.22 MPUSG). If the truck is driven pretty much 'pedal to the metal', then the fuel saving made possible by the Fuelstar will very likely not be realized.

Efficiency is a measure of fuel consumption AND power output. Specific fuel consumption is measured this way...in terms of fuel consumption per kW per hour. It is not possible to measure improved efficiency by reference to fuel consumption alone....unless of course the power output remains constant after installation of the Fuelstar as it was before.

Fuelstar will guarantee a fuel saving of 10% but only where the extra power is not used.

See fuel minimization tips for Class 8 trucks.

The Fuelstar canister is simple to instal and will normally outlive the engine. If testing the product preparatory to installing in the whole fleet, please ensure that you instal the product on a representative sample (5% of the fleet but no less than 3 vehicles) and ensure that proper test protocols are observed.

The Fuelstar canister is easy to fit and will usually outlive the engine.

Different sizes of canisters are available for different sizes of engine.

Life of product: two million km or 25,000 engine operating hours in the case of an off-road or stationary engine.
